  • Dietary factors – Seminal morbidity can result from the routine and excessive consumption of foods that are dry, bitter, salty, astringent, and acidic.
  • Behavioural factors – Sexual abuse, immature sexual union, excessive physical effort, complete abstinence from sex, repression of urges that are natural, and sexual union with an unresponsive partner are some behaviours that might result in Shukradosha.
  • Sleeping late at night can cause Rakta and Pitta Dosha imbalances in the body, resulting in Shukrakshaya, or a reduction in the quality and quantity of Shukra dhatu.
  • Psychological factors – Anxiety, anger, sadness, a lack of shared love, fear, and other psychological problems can all contribute to infertility.
  • Klaibya or Male Sexual Dysfunctions: Anxiety, anger, sadness, a lack of shared love, fear, and other psychological problems can all cause infertility.

Ayurvedic Treatment for Male Infertility

Vajikarana is one of the eight primary subspecialties of Ashtanga Ayurveda, and it focuses on a person’s sexual health. The Ayurvedic remedy for male infertility consists of:

Panchakarma Therapy: The Panchakarma therapy for infertility, one of Ayurveda’s most recognised treatments, strives to restore the Dosha balance and foster general well-being. Basti and Shodhana are a couple of the Panchakarma practices that are suggested for the treatment of male infertility.

Yogasana: Yoga Asanas like Padmasana (lotus pose), Bhujangasana (cobra pose), Sarvangasana (shoulder stand), Paschimottanasana (seated forward bend), and Parivrtta Trikonasana (twisted triangle pose) can assist in preserving mental, physical, and spiritual harmony and preventing infertility.
